 Volunteers are the backbone of any ministry.  They are the concrete that holds each brick together.  Please volunteer, you will be making a positive difference in a child’s life, while working with others to glorify God. When volunteering, please keep in mind that we are one ministry working together for one goal.

Chain Gang:

Each team is required to have 3 ADULTS work the first down markers for every home game. 

Co-ordinator:

Equipment Coordinators: 

These people would be responsible for equipment handouts and returns.  They will be responsible for uniforms, and equipment upkeep. They are responsible for having the equipment repair kits, water bottles, and anything else that players and cheerleaders would need to compete safely.  They are also responsible for getting and receiving equipment to and from the coaches.  Also, they make sure that all equipment is clean and dry when it is returned. 

Cheerleading:

Football: 

All teams will be required to pitch in and help either before or after your child’s game.  We are in need of a few people who are willing to coordinate this vital position. We believe that we can help offset the cost of the officials. We will probably need a generator if anyone has one.

Banquet:

These people would meet, plan, and find creative ways to raise money for awards.  They would be responsible for setting a date, getting a facility, and all of the workings and coordination that goes along with an awards banquet.  A banquet is a wonderful way to have fellowship and award the athletes, coaches, and volunteers. Also, to thank our wonderful sponsors.

Healthcare Volunteers:

These people are our most needed and most equipped in providing safety for the athletes and spectators.  We are in need of people to volunteer to provide medical attention to anyone who needs it.  We will have an area set up for you.  We ask that you wear something that people can identify you as being in the healthcare field.  We are only responsible for home games, yet we know that you will take care of us if the situation should arise at away games. Subsequently, if you are able to get donations for medical supplies which we may need, it is greatly appreciated. Also, we need someone who would coordinate the volunteers for each home game and make a list of supplies that we should strive to get.

Police Presence:

Unfortunately, this is a presence that should not have to be at games, yet it is necessary.  The Sherman Police Department will have a uniformed police officer present at all of our home games.  The officer will stay for 4 hours at a cost of $100.00, at all 5 home games.  We are in need of donations for this, and will help offset cost by selling T-Shirts.  T-Shirts will have each athletes name on the back (split by teams and cheerleaders) and should be ready by the September game at Texas Stadium. We are in need of a coordinator for this.
